How it Works

The 4-Level Development Program is designed to mentor aspiring talent and plug in experienced professionals. When you join BBN3, you are assigned a designation based on your experience. The more stories you shoot, the more opportunities you have to prove yourself, earn money, and advance within the program.

If you're a recent journalism or film-school grad, then BBN3 Hub is the place to start. Level 1 gets you access to the entire BBN3 network, our online Learning Center, support from peers and Assignment Desk Editors, and the ability to choose from exciting local journalism assignments. Once you prove your skills, you will be promoted to Level 2.

Video Journalists and Videographers that have established shooting and editing skills enter the program at Level 2. Some local journalism assignments at this level are paid and often more fun and controversial. With expert one-on-one feedback, you are given the opportunity to sharpen your skills and advance to Level 3.

Video Journalists and Videographers with professional-level skills enter the program at Level 3. These paid assignments provide the opportunity to create commercial video content for BBN3 Video and BBN3 News. Once you prove yourself to be professional and reliable, you advance to Level 4.

Professional Video Journalists and Videographers get promoted to Level 4 and can apply for television production work in addition to our Level 3 commercial opportunities. This level is reserved for our top go-to people.
