Despite the news articles and statistics that tell us that our economy is suffering, new business keep popping up. And these establishments are not just high profile organizations like hotels and chain stores, they are small businesses created by regular citizens like you. We visit two local business owners and and an every-day consumer to talk with them about opening a business during the recession.

Almost ten years after Colorado voters legalized medical marijuana, a new restaurant in Denver has opened its doors. The restaurant is Ganja Gourmet, and they offer food laced with marijuana; including brownies, lasagna, gourmet pizza, and cheesecake. Their business relies solely on people who hold medical marijuana cards. It claims to be the first of its kind...anywhere.
