Arcade Culture; Back from the Dead with Street Fighter 4
For years the American arcade scene has been in decline. As home gaming systems continued to advance gamers no longer sought arcades and settled into playing from the couches with friends and online.
But Street Fighter 4, the latest in a long line of one on one fighting games that has defined a genre, is changing all that. The most highly anticipated arcade release in ears has gamers swarming the two machines in Washington. But will the Feb. 17th release of the home version see arcades deserted once more?

Special thanks to my Street Fighters! Frank Caraan, Michael Davis, Mandel Scott, Sean Caraan and Andre Hill.
